Romantic Garden Inspiration with warm tones and Autumn foliage in a gothic Abbey
This inspiration wedding represents everything we love about the gorgeous fall season. Capucine Atelier Floral, in collaboration with Un Jardin de Lumières, organized this intimate session in the heart of two places steeped in symbols and history : the ruins of an old chapel and a gothic abbey, both built with pink sandstone from the Vosges mountains.
This colour has been our common theme in the variations of the fall palette : ochre, pink, blush, amaranth and burgundy – a choice of bright, warm colours and nuances evoking the changing seasons.
The venue is filled with fall foliage, vibrant tones, an abundance of flowers and soft velvet textures, all exquisitely captured by photographer Nadia Vaïsse. The flowers were abundant and extremely delicate and romantic.
Cécile from Capucine Atelier Floral says : « My floral inspiration was to visualize a ceremonial space filled with a multitude of small garden flowers in radiant natural tones and to create a floral « snake » to decorate the beautiful head table in the heart of the cloister of the abbey. It was so rewarding to combine these gorgeous flowers, shades and textures to create a new take on the autumn wedding.
We just love everything about fall, from the changing colors in warm honey, pink, blush and deep reds to the perfect fall foliage in a atmospheric gothic setting. Can you feel the same sweet, slightly melancolic emotion that we have tried to evoke in these arrangements ? The changing seasons, a bitter-sweet transition to something new.
